Disney Photo shoot
I have this afternoon completed three images of products for Disney Germany. This was via a local design company. These presented some issues as Disney wanted them for an A1 poster so needed TIFF images. The problem was passing them through the server..the computer says 'No'!
Thankfully the designers were local so I could put them on a stick and drive round.
Setup was using two Bowens studio lights, one either side and overhead.
125th second at F11 and ISO 200.
A large reflector in front of the camera had an amazing effect on brightening up the lower area.
They were requested on a dark background to enable Disney GMBH to cut them out for their own use.
The important part of this shoot was the flexibility. The client rang me at 3pm on a friday afternoon with an urgent request. The images needed to be done today, before the close of play (usually 5pm!) and sent to Germany. (How I love the international travel of modern photography Ha!)
I didn't even have the products with me. So a rush job is very useful really. You can't charge more than your honest rate but you certainly don't do discount. However your business gains a huge amount of respect and credibility. Flexibility certainly made a difference and the client was extremely grateful.
I cannot show the finished items but here is a little snapshot clue...!
